Transfer of obscene material to minors

Whoever, using the mail or any facility or means of , knowingly transfers obscene matter to another individual who has not attained the age of 16 years, knowing that such other individual has not attained the age of 16 years, or to do so, shall be , imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.

Simplified explanation
It is a federal crime to knowingly send obscene material to someone under 16 years old, using the mail or any means of interstate or foreign commerce such as the internet. Trying to do so is also a crime.
