Whoever wilfully disturbs any correctional institution of the commonwealth, the Lyman school, industrial school for boys, industrial school for girls, or a jail or , or in any manner seeks to attract the attention of, or without the permission of the officer in charge has communication with, an inmate thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars or by imprisonment for not more than three months.

Simplified explanation

Wilfully disturbing a correctional institution or jail, or trying to attract the attention of or communicating with an inmate without permission, is punishable by a fine up to $50 or up to three months in prison.
