Note (Massachusetts Legislature): [Annulled by Amendments, Art. LXXXIX.]
Simplified explanation
Annulled: It added to Article II that the general court could establish, in towns of more than six thousand inhabitants, a town meeting limited to elected inhabitants, with the consent and on application of a majority of the inhabitants voting. A note says it was annulled by Amendments, Art. LXXXIX.
